This Minecraft Flying Mod Allows You To Ride On Phantoms   Minecraft lets you do many amazing things like making it home to your Dungeons & Dragons game or even modifying it to an edgy version of Elden Ring. One Redditor created an Minecraft flying mod that allows players to fly on creatures that are grounded.      Ameito on Reddit looked at the building game and decided that players should be permitted to ride on winged creatures. There are a variety of flying Minecraft mobs, and Ameito picked the phantom to use for this test. The phantom, a dead mob, spawns only if the player hasn't slept or died in-game for three or more days. It is so unique that players might not have ever seen it.      Ameito's mod lets players ride the mysterious creatures using an ender eye. "When you throw an ender eye at the phantom," the modder explains, "it will kill it and summon an invisible llama as well as a new phantom with specific tags. The Phantom is always transported to the llama's position, so that when you mount the llama, it actually appears as if you are riding the Phantom."      This could also be magic for a lot of us, but the ultimate result is that you can take off on a terrifying black creature of the night. As the phantom is undead, it will normally be burning during the daytime, but Ameito turned that particular aspect off to avoid any mid-flight problems. It's a great mod, but it's one that opens up a variety of potential options - sky races, anyone?
